Thanksgiving Brunch/dessert board
This is the perfect board to put out after dinner or if you’re hosting a Friendsgiving brunch! I made these Pumpkin Chocolate muffins in the Nordic Ware Seasonal muffin tin and they came out so cute and so delicious! This muffin tin is also very good quality and super easy to clean and reuse, I also love the way the muffins came out in this pan. They have a nice crunch on the top of them but the middle is still soft! I also made mini pumpkin shaped waffles to add another touch of fall to the board, they paired great with the maple pumpkin butter from trader Joe’s that I added as well. I also found these orange and white set of mini bowls that were perfect to use for these charcuterie boards! I unfortunately could not find the exact ones I had used in the pictures but found very similar ones that I will link here! I had preferred to make the mini apple pies from scratch but I ran out of time and bought these from trader Joe’s as well, but if you prefer to make your own mini pies these molds are perfect for building them. I filled the rest of my dessert charcuterie board with fall-flavored cookies like these pumpkin Madeline cookies, as well as maple shortbread cookies, to top it off I added some chocolate cream cookie sticks, and caramel Stroopwafels!
For the Savory Charcuterie board I loved the idea of using a leaf cookie cutter for Brie so I used that and a white pumpkin as my two center points of the board. I mostly used items from trader Joe’s to build this board but I was very happy with the way everything tasted and it is very easy to make since there is little to none cooking or prepping involved! he Brie cheese that I used had a truffle oil in it and I found this raisin rosemary crisps to go with it and let me tell you this combination is AMAZING! I also found these fun pumpkin decorated bowls to add a touch of fall colors and filled it with olives. For cheese and meat I love using the trays that have a variety and are meant for cheese boards, this one from trader joes was perfect! I also added a touch of sweetness and color with these pumpkin-spiced coated pretzels and maple leaf shortbread cookies. Lastly I filled in the remaining space with some grapes and these thanksgiving stuffing flavored kettle chips, they are actually really good.
